Education at City Pride School is based on a project approach with exposure through field visits, research projects, science workshops, and presentations. The Continuous and comprehensive evaluation pattern [C.C.E.] is followed meticulously in the school. The education system in our school aims at helping students in understanding the facts by working hands-on, applying simpler & investigative learning way to arouse interest & develop a better understanding in their subject. The discovery science lab on the principles of the GAKKEN education system in Japan is an appropriate example of learning science through observation and enquiry. We ensure that students are socially conscious. Various environment protection activities are taken up by the school which involves active participation by students. The school has been awarded as the 'Best School' for 'Implementation of various methods to protect the environment.' The innovative thoughts make the children ready for 'out-of¬box' thinking and also helps in developing their all-around personalities. Since standard 6th, the school provides soft skill training to students for building their confidence, communication, and leadership skills. The eloquent club in the school aims at preparing students for administrative services. The students regularly work on group projects, undergo summer internships, and make amazing presentations of their work.
Learning beyond 4 walls is an essential element of school life at city pride . Right from cow shed to ice cream factory , from manufacturing industry to IISER , from Agakhan palace to Lal mahal and from blind school to orphanage , we take our kids to around 50 places of significance through out their school years . These visits are aimed at immersive learning through observation , interaction and creating awareness about life around them.
City Pride also conducts long distance educational tours for students every year, which includes places like Goa, Hyderabad, Gujarat, Bangalore-Mysore, Pachmadhi, and Punjab while higher class students visit European countries like Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria every year. The experience of such long distance tours is long cherished by students life long and builds lasting friendships among them Trekking in mountains teaches many life skills to students like perseverance, teamwork , presence of mind , environmental awareness to name a few . City pride school has joined hands with Giripremi mountaineering institute for conducting treks in sanhyadris and Himalayas .

An experiential learning programme that revolves around "STEM" (Skills of science, technology, engineering, and maths.) has been introduced in the school. Through this wonderful program called "CREYA" , children can develop problem solving , critical thinking & analytical skills . Art is expression of creativity and emotions !! it’s the way kids perceive world around them and derive so much of joy and positivity . our art teachers bring in so many colours and in the lives of our kids . The art and craft lab in the school is filled with creative designs, craft work, paintings and artistic products. The children are engaged in bringing creative ideas into reality though painting, craft and pottery. Throughout the School campus, the expression of artistic talent of students is visible in corridors, walls, paintings everywhere!!! Special workshops like umbrella painting , pottery , lantern making , block printing give immense joy of creation to kids. interested children are given coaching for elementary and intermediate examinations.

We are blessed with intelligent, enthusiastic and expert parents who believe in basic philosophy of our school. 'Connect to Inspire' is a platform through which school encourages parents to actively participate in various programs of school and thus inspire children in their areas of expertise. Through such support, Students of std. 9th, undergo summer internship in industry and professional establishments for getting awareness and exposure of work life and various careers for future. Interaction days are planned every month for mutual interaction of parent and teachers on individual basis. The 'Ice melting programme' is one such interesting event which establishes communication channel for new parents. The ratio of student : teachers is 15:1 which enables us to balance distribution of work with collective and participative sharing of academic delivery .

Teachers of city pride school are tech savy using AI tools, platforms like Microsoft tools , GPT efficiently . Teachers attend various seminars & workshops on project methodologies, teaching strategies, behavioural programmes for positive attitude and academic enrichment conducted by eminent faculties from these fields for continuous improvement. Every teacher is suppose to complete minimum 25 hours of training programmes per year.

Strong communication, correct body language and positive confidence are the essentials of success in today's world. At school “Soft Skill Training” is conducted by specially appointed soft skill trainers right from std. 6th onwards. With our vision to develop enlightened citizens, the school gives special emphasis on developing cultural and creative instincts among our children. Excellent infrastructure in terms of performing art rooms for Music , dance, instruments is provided in school campus. kids learn classical and western dance and music , instruments like keyboard , drums , guitar , table throughout their schooling years starting from grade 1.
Right from lower KG, students are introduced to performing arts for better synchronization of the body for the expression of emotions. While from grade 1 to grade 10 , they learn one visual and performing art among all the available choices. Excellent tools and equipment are available in the form of musical instruments, audio-visual facilities, recording facilities, props for achieving a high level of outcome in these areas. Full-time coaches as well as expert faculty, artists are invited to mentor children in these areas from std. 6th. City pride school has its own Rock band which was winner of national level Rock band competition while on the other hand many of our artists have mesmerized us with their Indian classical performances.
School has appointed full time counsellors to help children to overcome their emotional and social insecurities and to achieve better confidence in life. To cater to the learning difficulties seen among some children we have also introduced remedial coaching with the help of expert teachers. Counsellors work with 360 degree approach while working with the students by counselling the parents, teachers and peers of the concerned child for better outcome. Experts are invited to conduct parent counselling sessions regularly throughout the year . Teachers are rigorously trained for life skills and students counselling for building positive connect with children at all levels . school promotes and implements differential assessment for children with learning difficulties to boost their self esteem. Considering the need of an hour , counselling department conducts sessions on good touch-bad touch , puberty , creating emotional balance for kids at appropriate age .
India is the biggest democracy in the world. City Pride School believes in imbibing these democratic values in our kids. A school council is elected by the students through voting process. They actively participate in the decision making in school at various levels. We take special efforts to develop leadership skills among these school council members through specially designed leadership development program
In order to elevate the academic standard in each subject school has formed subject departments. The teachers teaching the same subject at various levels interact with each other as department members to bring out the best teaching practices and concentric subject development from primary up to secondary level. Such initiatives also keep the subject teachers updated about their subject proficiency. These departments have separate departmental budget through which they plan various subject related activities like exhibitions, quiz, projects, and display board throughout the year.
With the rapid and widespread adoption of digital technologies and online services, ensuring the security of our cyberspaces has become an indispensable component of personal safety. The escalating cases of data breaches and cyber-attacks highlight the urgent need for cyber-safety and cyber-defense skills. Education plays a pivotal role in increasing awareness and combating cyber threats. It is essential that students in schools are well-informed about cyber hygiene and potential cyber threats, as the younger generation becomes increasingly vulnerable to cybercrime. Acknowledging the significance of this issue, the Government of India has established the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (14C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. This centre aims to provide a comprehensive and coordinated framework to combat cybercrimes effectively. Referring to CBSE circular No: Acad-101/2023, the Cyber Club has been formed in City Pride School. Under this, the school is conducting various activities like guest lectures, skits, group discussions, etc., to spread awareness among the students.
Games and Exercises are an important means of recreation and helps in building team spirit and positivity. They refresh children and enable them to be stress free along with underlined importance of physical health . The school has a state of art in-campus playground to bring out the sporting talents of children and to inculcate a spirit of sportsmanship. From middle school Children enthusiastically participate in the drama sessions conducted by professional artists from theatre. Children have won prestigious marathi drama competitions and one act performances in Pune city.
A school magazine is basically a type of magazine unique to its own people that is students, staff members, and teachers, principal and vice principals etc. In other words, the school magazine is of the directors, principals, students, teachers and parents, by them and for them. It contains various opinions and words from all type of people from a school, and basically it is meant for the people who are related with the school.
The school publishes theme based school magazine with unbound participation from teachers, students and even the parents for last 8 years. The school magazine is spontaneous, creative and participative giving platform to students for exhibiting their creative talents.

Recently school conducted “Flash Mob“ On Mahatma Gandhi at prominent public places on seconf October . Sanskrit Diwas , hindi Diwas , Marathi diwas are marked with performances and activities dedicated to these Indian languages while science day , environment day promotes scientific thought and environmental awareness . During corona students were part of “ WAR ROOM “ in radio channel started by PCMC as help line. Students participate in cleanliness drives during Ganpati festival and projects like “ पुनरावर्तन “ for Ganpati idol recycling, students serve वारकरी during waari processions while flash mobs and street plays are conducted on prominent places in PCMC for creating awareness about cleanliness and environment .
City pride in true sense believes in inclusive education . We have tied up with “ झेप “ , a prominent rehabilitation centre working for differently abled children. Kids from झेप visit city pride school twice a week and learn , play , draw , sing with our students . This immersive experience of being with each other , creates larger positive impact on city pride students in order to accept and honour the differences and real meaning of inclusivity .
